Is the user holding the smartphone with the right or left hand? Is the user actually holding the smartphone or is it on a surface? These and other concerns related to interaction and usability issues are a constant at Fraunhofer AICOS.
In order to deepen this topic, in the scope of the MSc thesis TouchSense, tests were made with older and younger adults to validate the algorithms developed and understand the usage patterns of the smartphone by these user groups. As usually, COLABORAR counted on the readiness of the volunteer seniors to help out.
