At Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS researchers are continuously improving the user interfaces for smartphones, tailoring them to a very special target group: seniors.
It requires user-centered design and testing techniques, in an iterative process, which means we show seniors the applications, they try them out and give us their opinion and then we make improvements on the design of the user interfaces, in accordance with the feedback from seniors.
The tests we carried out last week proved once again we are on the right track, as participants completed the tasks very easily!
