The Master Thesis ExerBalance – “Balance-board based system for rehabilitation of patients with balance disorders” aims to develop a system to improve standing balance in patients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) through game-based exercises. This type of exercises might increase the motivation and the adherence to the treatment and complement the traditional rehabilitation therapy. The system collects relevant data from the sensors and the results can be assessed by physiotherapists.
