In the scope of the Master Thesis EMGesture, an algorithm is being developed that detects arm movements and also recognizes hand gestures captured by sensors of electromiography and inertial sensors. This knowledge can be applied in the context of Human-Computer Interaction and in the fields of functional rehabilitation and fall prevention.
